For the last five years, San Jose State has been a part of our school life on an almost daily basis. The drive. The parking lot. The sign-in sheet. The playdough, snacks and circle times. But on this last day of summer school, all of those mundane, daily tasks became kind of special as we did them for the last time and said goodbye.
The last “what we did today” post.
We said goodbye to Teacher Gary, Teacher Joy and some of the student teachers.
Had the last door button conflict.
Hiked up to the 5th floor of the parking garage because Fin always wishes he could park there. (Parking garage, I will not miss you. At all.)
And had one last run through the ivy for old times’ sake.
So long, San Jose State. I can’t believe we’re done with preschool. And thanks for the unforgettable memories and friendships!
